Procedure: I will visit the client to discuss about ideas regarding style, wardrobe, background and any other information that could apply to the portrait. Once a size, media, price, completion date is agreed upon, a 40% deposit is required before work commences. A charcoal sketch and color study will be done with the approval of the client prior to the painting. The remaining balance is due upon the delivery and approval of the finished painting.

Photographs/ Live Sittings: I will take photographs of the subject as references or work directly from them if live sittings are not possible. It is almost impossible to use client's picture unless the portrait is 'posthumous'. Live sittings will require commitment from both the sitter and artist and is recommended. But if not possible, I will work from photographs.

Completion time: Oil portraits will take from 2 month to 8 months depending of the size. Charcoal portraits takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Pastel portraits takes about 3 weeks to a month. All of the above completion time will depend on my schedule.

Extra costs: All materials including photography are my responsibility. The client will be responsible for travel and/or accommodation expenses (if necessary), Framing, taxes (if applicable), shipping & insurance.
